In a joint communique released after a meeting in Minsk between Chinese Premier Li Qiang and Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko, both nations expressed their readiness to fully leverage the significant potential for agricultural collaboration and to boost investment in this sector.
The two countries also expressed a desire to increase market access in China for agricultural and food products. They emphasized welcoming high-quality agricultural goods into their respective markets and encouraging businesses to take part in each other’s exhibitions and events.
Additionally, the communique stated that the two sides agreed to deepen cooperation on the China-Europe Railway Express, establish an inter-governmental cooperation mechanism for the service, improve infrastructure connectivity, and work together to ensure the safety of the China-Europe freight train transport corridor.
