The Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) Annual Conference 2025 concluded on Friday in Boao, a coastal town in Hainan province, China, with key agreements reached on multiple fronts.
According to BFA Secretary General Zhang Jun, this year’s discussions resulted in consensus on five major areas: upholding multilateralism, enhancing regional cooperation and economic integration, advancing the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), fostering innovation-driven growth, and promoting dialogue to build trust and tackle global challenges collectively.
Established in 2001, the BFA is an independent, non-profit international organization dedicated to fostering regional economic integration and supporting Asia’s development objectives. Held from March 25 to 28, the 2025 conference focused on the theme “Asia in the Changing World: Towards a Shared Future.”
