Biden extends congratulations to Xi on PRC’s 75th founding anniversary: spokesperson of Chinese foreign ministry.
U.S. President Joe Biden has conveyed a congratulatory message to Chinese President Xi Jinping on the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China (PRC), according to a statement from a Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson on Saturday.
Numerous leaders from various countries, political parties, and international organizations have recently extended their congratulations to President Xi, who also serves as the general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, on the milestone anniversary of the PRC.
The spokesperson confirmed that President Biden was among the leaders who sent their well wishes to China on this significant occasion.
In his message, President Biden expressed that “on behalf of the people of the United States, I send our congratulations to you and the people of the People’s Republic of China as you celebrate the 75th anniversary of its founding. The American people and I extend our best wishes to the people of the People’s Republic of China,” as shared by the spokesperson.
