Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is set to undertake an official visit to China from July 12 to 18, following an invitation extended by Chinese Premier Li Qiang, according to a statement by the Chinese foreign ministry on Tuesday.
During a regular press briefing, spokesperson Mao Ning noted that the visit holds particular significance as it coincides with the beginning of the second decade of the China-Australia comprehensive strategic partnership.
Mao emphasized that, under the leadership of both nations and through joint efforts, the bilateral relationship has steadily improved over time.
She expressed China’s willingness to use this visit as a chance to deepen communication, build mutual trust, expand practical cooperation, and further develop the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.
