Aurangzeb and Ambassador discuss Pak-China economic ties

Federal Minister Aurangzeb and Ambassador Khalil Hashmi met to discuss Pak-China economic ties and avenues for trade and investment.

Pakistan and China have reiterated their commitment to strengthening strategic and economic ties, acknowledging the vast potential for mutual growth, according to a press release issued today.

Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb met with Ambassador Khalil Hashmi to discuss avenues for enhancing trade, investment, and economic cooperation.

The meeting was also attended by Mr. Syed Tariq Fatemi, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs.

Senator Aurangzeb highlighted notable progress in Pakistan’s economic landscape, particularly the increasing confidence of businesses and investors in the country.

He emphasized the critical role of robust economic diplomacy and underscored the need for deeper partnerships to support Pakistan’s growing economy.

Ambassador Khalil Hashmi provided an update on his ongoing efforts to further fortify the bilateral relationship between Pakistan and China.
