On April 15, Pakistan’s Ministry of Food Security held a farewell ceremony for the first batch of 300 trainees of the “Thousands of Agricultural Talents Going to China for Training” project. Prime Minister Shabaz and Ambassador Jiang Zaidong attended the ceremony.Jiang Zaidong congratulated the launch of the project, praised the efforts made by the relevant departments and localities of the two countries, and hoped that the trainees would seriously study cutting-edge science and technology and actively promote the China-Pakistan friendship. Agriculture is the foundation of a country, and a solid foundation will bring peace to the country. Both China and Pakistan are major agricultural countries. We are willing to work with Pakistan to implement the consensus reached by the two countries’ high-level officials, implement talent training projects, and inject scientific and technological power into China-Pakistan agricultural cooperation, especially Pakistan’s agricultural modernization.Prime Minister Shahbaz praised the tremendous achievements of China’s modernization, spoke highly of President Xi Jinping’s proposal to build a community with a shared future for the neighborhood, and sincerely thanked China for its long-term valuable support to Pakistan.
