COMSATS University Islamabad’s Lahore campus has signed an intent of cooperation with Everest International Expo (Pvt.) Ltd. to promote industrial collaboration between Pakistan and China.
Everest International Expo serves as the Pakistan operating entity of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) in Lahore. The university announced the agreement on Thursday, outlining plans to connect academic institutions with industrial stakeholders and Chinese businesses.
Key Areas of Cooperation
The partnership will focus on several sectors, including artificial intelligence (AI), agriculture, automotive supply chains, technology transfer and biopharmaceuticals. It will also promote research and development.
Both organisations plan to support joint research projects, academic publications, industry-driven innovation and AI-based solutions. Enterprise surveys will also form part of the proposed collaboration.

The agreement will create opportunities for COMSATS students and faculty members to engage with Chinese enterprises, investors and international business networks.
