Pakistan and Uzbekistan have agreed to strengthen economic cooperation and turn existing agreements into practical projects.
The understanding came during a meeting between Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal and Uzbek Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade Ilzat Kasimov in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
Both sides discussed regional connectivity, investment, and international financing. The talks placed particular focus on the Uzbekistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan Railway.
Focus on Practical Economic Projects
Ahsan Iqbal called for stronger implementation of bilateral agreements. He said both countries should move from political understanding toward bankable projects.
