Qingyang: Gansu Daily News Newspaper Group has established a media partnership with The Daily CPEC to strengthen cooperation between Chinese and Pakistani media.
The partnership was announced at the 9th Gansu Media Integration Innovation and Development Forum. It aims to expand press exchanges, promote talent cooperation, and create stronger links between the people of China and Pakistan.
Strengthening Media Cooperation
The partnership will support closer cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative. Both sides will work to improve the exchange of news, information, and media resources.
Gansu Daily News Newspaper Group and The Daily CPEC will establish a regular content-sharing and joint-production mechanism. The two media organizations will also exchange reporters for thematic interviews and share content and media channels.
Promoting Gansu in Pakistan
Through the partnership, Pakistani audiences will gain greater access to information about Gansu.
Content covering the province’s economy, trade, culture, science, and technology will be shared with Pakistani readers. The initiative will also help promote Gansu’s culture and development achievements internationally.
Supporting China-Pakistan Friendship
This year marks the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between China and Pakistan. At the same time, the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor has entered its upgraded CPEC 2.0 phase, creating new opportunities for cooperation.
The joint media initiative will use reporting and content exchange to highlight developments in China-Pakistan relations.
Both sides will continue to deepen media cooperation and tell the story of China-Pakistan friendship through informative and engaging coverage. The partnership is also expected to contribute to stronger people-to-people connections and support the China-Pakistan all-weather strategic cooperative partnership.
