Kuwait has assured support for the supply of diesel and jet fuel to Pakistani vessels following a meeting between Ali Pervaiz Malik and Nasser Abdulrahman Jassim Al-Mutairi in Islamabad.
According to officials, Kuwait Petroleum Corporation will extend full cooperation to facilitate potential fuel supplies, enhancing support for maritime and aviation operations.
The petroleum minister welcomed the assurance and highlighted that Pakistan has been importing petroleum products, particularly diesel, from Kuwait for over 50 years.The Kuwaiti ambassador reaffirmed continued support despite global challenges, emphasizing strong bilateral ties, while Pakistan also reiterated its role in promoting regional stability and peaceful diplomatic engagement.
