Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar departed Islamabad on Tuesday for China at the invitation of Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.During the visit, Dar will hold in-depth discussions with Chinese leadership on regional developments, bilateral relations, and global issues of mutual interest.
This marks the second visit of Deputy Prime Minister Dar to Beijing in 2026, underlining the close coordination and strategic partnership between Pakistan and China.Pakistan and China maintain an all-weather cooperative partnership, characterized by regular consultations on regional and international matters, strengthening diplomatic and economic ties.
