China’s 15th Five-Year Plan outlines a clear roadmap targeting 4.5 to 5 percent economic growth over the next five years, emphasizing innovation, sustainability, and high-quality development.
Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Jiang Zaidong highlighted that the plan promotes technology-led growth, including AI, aerospace, new energy vehicles, and renewable energy, while continuing global engagement and trade expansion.
The plan also strengthens China-Pakistan collaboration, particularly under CPEC 2.0, focusing on infrastructure, digital connectivity, healthcare, education, and social development projects. China has extended support to Pakistan through initiatives such as distributing 70,000 health kits in Balochistan and providing medical services to over 48,000 patients at the China-Pakistan Friendship Hospital in Gwadar.
Ambassador Jiang reaffirmed that China and Pakistan remain all-weather strategic partners, working together to enhance economic growth, innovation, social welfare, and sustainable development.
