Pakistan is making significant strides in increasing its energy production, thanks to support from the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC). Modern technological measures and strategic agreements with foreign firms are helping to boost daily oil and gas output across the country.
OGDCL has signed a landmark agreement with a French company to implement modern water injection systems at the Kunner and Pasakhi oil fields. This initiative is projected to increase oil production by nine million barrels and gas output by three billion cubic feet, significantly strengthening Pakistan’s energy sector.
The move is expected to generate an estimated income of $460 million, further highlighting Pakistan’s commitment to modernizing its energy infrastructure, leveraging international expertise, and ensuring sustainable growth in the hydrocarbon sector.
