Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong pledged complete solidarity with Pakistan following recent terrorist attacks in Balochistan during a high-level meeting with Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi at the Ministry of Interior.
Ambassador Jiang condemned the attacks targeting civilians and security forces and assured continued cooperation in Pakistan’s counter-terrorism efforts. Minister Naqvi briefed the ambassador on swift security responses and ongoing operations, emphasizing the priority of protecting Chinese nationals and projects in the country.
“A Special Protection Unit is being established exclusively for Chinese citizens, and modern Chinese technology will strengthen coordinated counter-terrorism measures,” Naqvi said. Both sides also agreed to deepen collaboration in intelligence sharing, cybercrime, and internal security, reaffirming the resilience of the Pakistan–China strategic partnership.
