China has urged all parties in Yemen to prioritize peace, restore stability, and respect the country’s sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity. The Chinese Foreign Ministry highlighted the importance of putting Yemeni citizens’ interests first.
Amid recent changes in southern Yemen, China emphasized responding to regional peace efforts led by Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and the international community, and resolving disputes through political dialogue aligned with UN resolutions and Gulf Cooperation Council initiatives.
China reiterated its commitment to promoting talks for a political settlement in Yemen and supporting de-escalation efforts, aiming for early restoration of peace and tranquility in the conflict-affected regions.
