Participants of the 27th National Security Workshop visited Gwadar to receive detailed briefings on the area’s strategic role under CPEC. Officials explained how security forces ensure safe port operations, protect development projects, and support rising trade activity in the region.
During the visit, the delegation was briefed on coastal surveillance, counter-smuggling efforts, and ongoing infrastructure upgrades at Gwadar Port. They were also updated on coordinated measures taken to maintain peace and strengthen investment confidence.
The workshop members appreciated the Pakistan Army’s role in stabilizing the Makran Division and supporting local development. Their visit also included stops at Pakistan Point and a Pakistan Naval Ship, giving them a firsthand understanding of Gwadar’s growing security and economic importance.
