Han Zheng, China’s Vice President, and Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff, General Asim Munir, met in Beijing on Friday, strengthening the persistent force of China-Pakistan ties and their dedication to enhancing strategic collaboration.
Vice President Han, during the high-level meeting, elaborated on the relationship between China and Pakistan as one of unwavering friendship and broad strategic alliance. He underscored the mutual trust and solidarity both countries have regularly demonstrated, especially during challenging times, and highlighted their shared aspiration for a prosperous future.
Han accentuated he is eager to work with Pakistan to enact the major comprehension set by the leadership of both nations. He stressed deepening the time-tested friendship, expanding partnership across multiple sectors, and accelerating efforts to form a closer China-Pakistan relation with a shared future in the advanced era.
General Asim Munir ratified that strengthening the relationship with China is a national consensus in Pakistan, cutting across institutions and the community at large. He voiced Pakistan’s resolute support for China’s three key global strategies and noted Islamabad’s alignment with China on regional and international matters.
The Chief of Army Staff further assured that the Pakistani army is driven to carry on the leadership-level consensus and will continue taking initiative in strengthening the all-weather strategic cooperative collaboration.
This meeting marks another turning point in the diplomatic and strategic bond between both nations, rooted in mutual respect, cooperation, and a shared vision for regional stability and growth.
