President lauds PAF’s role in victory against India as he meets Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, the Chief of the Air Staff.

President Asif Ali Zardari acknowledged the crucial and pivotal role played by the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) in protecting the nation’s sovereignty and borders during the recent conflict with India, which resulted in a significant and resolute triumph for Pakistan.

These remarks were made during his visit to Air Headquarters in Islamabad on Tuesday, where he held discussions with Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, the Chief of the Air Staff.

The President praised the PAF personnel for their outstanding professionalism, strong dedication, and unshakable resolve during the crisis.

He also commended Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu’s leadership, especially his efforts in upgrading the PAF and quickly adopting advanced technologies that boosted operational capabilities and reshaped regional deterrence dynamics.

President Zardari stressed that the bold and far-sighted leadership of Pakistan’s military forces allowed the country to respond decisively and promptly to Indian aggression, ensuring the Air Force continues to lead in technological and strategic development.

He also expressed satisfaction with the PAF’s combat preparedness and reaffirmed the government’s full support for the Air Force in its pursuit of operational excellence.

In response, the Air Chief briefed the President on various modernization initiatives within the PAF, including its operational strategies, force development goals, and structural plans geared toward adapting to future warfare.

He credited the PAF’s success in the recent confrontation with India to superior training, smart acquisitions, constant operational preparedness, and an indigenous kill chain built on expertise in modern combat.

The Air Chief revealed that the PAF, for the first time in its history, conducted Full Spectrum Operations during the conflict, utilizing multi-domain capabilities.

This included the combined use of Space, Cyber, and Electronic Warfare along with strategic deployment of cutting-edge and disruptive technologies, which produced a decisive advantage and played a vital role in Pakistan’s victory.

President Zardari’s visit to the Air Headquarters aimed to uplift the morale of the PAF after its commendable performance in defending Pakistan’s skies and mounting an effective response to Indian aggression.

Upon arrival, President Zardari was received with a Guard of Honour presented by a well-dressed contingent of the Pakistan Air Force.
