Chinese President Xi Jinping, who also serves as General Secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, conducted an inspection tour of Luoyang city in Henan Province on Monday.
As part of his visit, Xi stopped at key locations including Luoyang Bearing Group Co., Ltd., the historic White Horse Temple, and the UNESCO-listed Longmen Grottoes.
He was briefed on regional initiatives to boost advanced manufacturing, safeguard and make better use of historical and cultural assets, and drive high-quality growth in the cultural and tourism industries.
