Pakistan downs 4 more Indian drones in Okara as the tensions between India and Pakistan continue to rise.
Pakistani security personnel successfully intercepted and brought down four Indian drones on Friday near the outskirts of Okara, with no injuries or casualties reported.
Local police stated that the UAVs were shot down over villages 15-4-L and 11-4-L. The drones crashed into agricultural fields close to residential areas after Pakistani forces took immediate and effective action. The wreckage was swiftly retrieved by authorities.
This development follows a similar incident the previous day in Narowal district, where a drone was downed by Pakistani troops using a rocket in the village of Jasar.
According to witnesses, the drone appeared around 9:45 am before it was neutralized by Pakistani forces.
These drone incidents are occurring amid rising tensions between India and Pakistan.
On Thursday, India launched over 20 drone attacks targeting several regions across Pakistan, including areas in the eastern and northern provinces.
Consequently, Pakistani forces retaliated swiftly and managed to destroy multiple drones. However, the strikes caused significant harm, resulting in the martyrdom of three civilians and injuries to several others, including four military personnel.
