Pakistan has officially begun exporting camel milk powder to China, according to a statement from the Ministry of Food on Monday. The export initiative is being conducted in collaboration with two major Chinese firms: One HK Holding Ltd and Xi’an ‘TUO ZHONG TUO’ Biotechnology Limited Company.
Federal Minister for National Food Security and Research, Rana Tanveer Hussain, participated as the Chief Guest at the launch ceremony held in Lahore over the weekend to commemorate Pakistan’s inaugural export of camel milk powder to China.
During the event, the minister emphasized that this venture unlocks new possibilities for Pakistani dairy products in global markets and showcases the untapped strength of Pakistan’s agricultural sector. He remarked, “This success not only reflects our capabilities but also encourages others to seek international partnerships in emerging industries.”
The statement further noted that the camel milk powder export initiative has already created numerous job opportunities and is poised to give a substantial boost to Pakistan’s economy, helping the country establish a strong position in the niche market of specialized dairy exports.
