Islamabad on High Alert After Jaffar Express Attack to maintain order and ensure security to the citizens.

Security has been significantly strengthened across Islamabad in response to the recent attack on the Jaffar Express in Balochistan.

Following the incident, local authorities swiftly implemented enhanced security measures, particularly around high-risk government zones, as reported by Express News.

The security perimeter around the Islamabad Police Lines has been reinforced.

To ensure safety, roads near the Police Lines and the Inspector General’s office have been closed off, and additional police commandos have been stationed in the vicinity.

As part of these heightened measures, concrete barriers have been positioned outside the police lines, and barbed wire has been installed to prevent unauthorized access.

Authorities have introduced these security precautions to protect key locations due to the ongoing threat posed by the attackers and the increasing security concerns across the country.

Officials have stated that these measures are temporary and will remain in place until the situation stabilizes. They have reassured the public that security arrangements will be adjusted as needed.

Law enforcement agencies are actively working to maintain order and address any emerging threats.

The increased security efforts directly respond to the Jaffar Express attack, which has alarmed both officials and the general public. Authorities remain on high alert, closely monitoring the situation for any new developments.

In a major counterterrorism operation, security forces eliminated 27 militants and rescued over 150 hostages after heavily armed terrorists launched an attack on a Peshawar-bound train in Balochistan’s Bolan district, Express News reported on Wednesday.

The Jaffar Express, carrying over 400 passengers across nine coaches, was traveling from Quetta to Peshawar when it came under attack in the Dhadar region of Bolan Pass on Tuesday, according to security sources.

In response, security forces launched an immediate operation, successfully neutralizing 27 assailants.

Authorities confirmed that the perpetrators of the Jaffar Express attack were in direct communication with their mastermind based in Afghanistan.

The attack unfolded when armed militants forcibly stopped the train in a remote, mountainous area of Balochistan on Tuesday afternoon. The banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), a terrorist organization responsible for escalating violence in the province, quickly claimed responsibility for the assault.

Security forces revealed that before storming the train, the attackers had detonated an explosive device on the railway track, further escalating the chaos.
