A Chinese naval fleet, including the vessels Baotou and Gaoyouhu, will take part in a multinational joint exercise in Pakistan this February, following an invitation from the Pakistani military, according to China’s Ministry of National Defense on Thursday.
The exercise, named “Peace-2025,” will feature drills on maritime resupply, joint anti-piracy operations, search and rescue missions, and air defense. These activities aim to strengthen cooperation and improve the collective ability to ensure maritime security, the ministry stated.
