One-stop service counters have been operational in the international arrival sections of Beijing Capital International Airport and Beijing Daxing International Airport since early 2025.
These counters provide more than 20 essential services spanning finance, communication, transportation, and culture and tourism, ensuring greater convenience for foreign travelers visiting for leisure, education, or business purposes.
Travelers can use the counters to withdraw cash with their bank cards, exchange currency, and get assistance with downloading local mobile payment apps. Additional services include purchasing SIM cards, accessing airport Wi-Fi, customizing travel plans, and booking tourist site visits.
The counters also offer a Beijing Pass — a multifunctional card for transportation, sightseeing, and shopping payments. Staff provide guidance on purchasing subway tickets or airport shuttle passes, along with brochures detailing cultural, sports, and business activities.
In 2024, the total passenger volume at Beijing’s two airports exceeded 117 million, reflecting a 26.2% year-on-year increase, with international passengers comprising 16.8% of the total.
On December 17, 2024, China extended its visa-free transit policy, allowing eligible foreign travelers to stay for up to 240 hours (10 days) compared to the previous 72 and 144 hours. This move aims to enhance international connectivity and foster cultural exchange.
