Team Auxiliary control operations (ACO) beat Team Administration by 8 runs in the final match of Huaneng Cricket Tournament 2024 organized by Operation Department of Sahiwal Coal Fired Power Plant. The final match between Team ACO and Team Administration was an exciting 8-over contest.
Team Administration won the toss and chose to bowl first. Team ACO posted a formidable total of 96-4. Highest scorer from Team ACO was Touseef Khan, who scored an unbeaten 28 runs. Hafiz Shehzad from Team Admin took 3 wickets. In response, Team Admin fought valiantly but fell short, scoring 87-3. Abdul Rauf Bhatti continued his stellar form, scoring 28 runs, but it was not enough to chase down the target. Touseef Khan capped off a spectacular all-round performance by taking 2 key wickets, securing the victory for Team ACO.The tournament concluded with an award ceremony, where the CEO of Sahiwal Coal-Fired Power Plant, Mr. Li Xin, presented the trophy to the winning Team ACO. Vice President, Mr. Huang Xuewen handed over the trophy to the runners-up, Team Administration.

The first eliminator was played between Team CCO and Team Maintenance (the losers of the first two matches). Team CCO won the toss and opted to bat first. They posted a modest total of 89-1 with Farhan scoring 22 runs. Team Maintenance chased the target comfortably, winning the match in just 5.4 overs without losing a single wicket. With this win, Team Maintenance advanced to the next eliminator, knocking Team CCO out of the tournament. The second eliminator featured a showdown between Team Administration and Team Maintenance. Team Maintenance won the toss and chose to bowl first. Team Administration capitalized on their strong batting lineup, scoring 103-2. Chasing the target, Team Maintenance struggled to build momentum and could only manage 67-1. With this victory, Team Administration earned their place in the final against Team ACO. In the final match, Team Auxiliary control operations (ACO) beat Team Administration after a nail-biting content.
