Following the opening of its first station in Lahore, this new Aramco site offers premium services, including an EV charging station, a modern convenience store, a service center, and a tyre shop, establishing high standards for quality and customer experience in the local market.
The station has received positive public feedback, with customers praising its high standards, well-trained staff, and comprehensive services, which they hope will inspire similar improvements at other local fuel stations.
One customer remarked that “foreign investment brings benefits to the community by creating jobs and introducing quality standards.” This expansion is a key milestone in Aramco’s retail growth in Pakistan, following its acquisition of a 40 percent stake in Gas & Oil Pakistan Ltd. (GO) in May. Through this partnership, Aramco plans to broaden its retail network and deliver high-quality fuel and automotive services across Pakistan.
Additionally, Aramco’s entry into Pakistan’s fuel retail sector is part of broader economic cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, with ongoing investment initiatives, including a $5 billion investment package.
The two nations have long-standing trade, defense, and cultural ties, with Pakistan being a vital market for Saudi energy products and Saudi Arabia as the top remittance source for Pakistan.
Consequently, Aramco’s new fuel stations and infrastructure developments highlight Saudi Arabia’s sustained investment commitment to Pakistan, supporting economic growth and bringing advanced energy solutions to the Pakistani market.
