Finland’s Trade Minister to attend CIIE in Shanghai noting that Shanghai has the highest concentration of Finnish businesses in China.
Finland’s government announced on Friday that Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Ville Tavio will represent Finland at the upcoming China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai.
“China holds significant value as a trade partner for Finland, making it essential to promote exports and support trade in areas advantageous to Finnish businesses. This marks the fourth time Finland has a national pavilion at the CIIE,” Tavio said in a press release.
The statement highlighted that Shanghai has the largest concentration of Finnish businesses in China.
Tavio will lead a Finnish trade delegation in China from November 4 to 8. After completing activities in Shanghai, he and the delegation will proceed to Shenzhen in southern China, with their visit concluding in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
The seventh China International Import Expo will take place in Shanghai from November 5 to 10.
