Pak, China to launch 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations tomorrow

China’s State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi will jointly launch the ‘70th anniversary of Pak-China diplomatic ties’ tomorrow. This will be the first government-to-government event marking the 70th anniversary. Both countries have planned over 100 events this year to celebrate this occasion. Top government officials from both countries, while commenting on the importance of this anniversary, on multiple occasions, said that this event should be taken as an opportunity to further strengthen the bilateral cooperative partnership between the two countries.
