Turkmenistan’s Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Rashid Meredov, met with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad during the SCO meeting.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif welcomed Turkmenistan’s participation as a special guest in the meeting and highlighted the significance of Pakistan’s long-standing, historical, and fraternal relations with Turkmenistan.
The Prime Minister conveyed his best wishes to the Turkmen leadership and stressed the importance of enhancing high-level exchanges between the two countries.
He underscored the need for both nations to collaborate in maximizing bilateral cooperation, particularly in the sectors of trade, energy, and regional connectivity.
Rashid Meredov congratulated Pakistan on successfully hosting the SCO Heads of Government Meeting and conveyed good wishes to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on behalf of Turkmenistan’s leadership.
He reaffirmed Turkmenistan’s strong commitment to further strengthening and deepening its relations with Pakistan.
