ISLAMABAD – Chinese PM Li Qiang to make historic visit to Pakistan next month for SCO summit.
Chinese Premier Li Qiang will pay a historic visit to Pakistan in October to attend the upcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
Pakistan will host the SCO Council of Heads of Government meeting on October 15 and it has started receiving confirmation regarding participation from different countries.
The Chinese premier will reach Pakistan on Oct 14.
The Pakistani government has also sent invitation to India and Russian while it is yet to receive a response from these countries and others.
The Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) is a permanent intergovernmental international organization established on June 15, 2001 in Shanghai by Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
Currently, the SCO countries includes nine Member States – China, Pakistan, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan.
