China has launched a new initiative called “Belt and Road Skills-Building-Dreams Action” to strengthen international skill cooperation among participating countries. Over 30 cooperation agreements were signed during the launching ceremony on Tuesday in southwestern China’s Chongqing Municipality.
According to China’s Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, this action plan aims to foster joint vocational standards, share training resources, cultivate skilled trainers, and achieve mutual recognition of training certificates, all while establishing cooperative brands.
The initiative’s emphasis on promoting resources related to skill training is noteworthy for advanced manufacturing, modern services, and elderly care, which represent a comprehensive approach to skill development.
