China has secured its position as the world’s top food importer, with a projected $140 billion in food imports for 2023, as outlined in the 2023 China Food Import Report revealed at the China Import Food Summit.
The summit, aligned with the theme of the 6th China International Import Expo, “Innovation, Cooperation, and Sustainability,” was hosted by the China Chamber of Commerce of I/E of Foodstuffs, Native Produce, and Animal By-Product.
