On Wednesday, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar affirmed Pakistan’s unwavering commitment to executing the projects recently concluded with China across various sectors.
He emphasized that the recent agreements between the two nations would mark a new phase in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
During a meeting with Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong, Prime Minister Kakar underscored that China’s Belt and Road Initiative served as a catalyst for the development and prosperity of the entire region.
He expressed his appreciation to Chinese President Xi Jinping and the Chinese leadership for the warm reception and arrangements made during his recent visit to China.
Prime Minister Kakar stated that Pakistan would take significant steps to implement the Memorandum of Understanding and agreements that were signed during his recent trip to China.
He highlighted the profound and enduring friendship between China and Pakistan, describing it as being as lofty as the mountains and as deep as the seas.
Furthermore, he noted that the people of both nations were reaping the benefits of the CPEC.
The Chinese ambassador reassured the prime minister of China’s complete cooperation in advancing Pakistan’s development and economic stability.
