9 terrorists killed in KP operations as Pakistan’s forces conducted Intelligence based operations.

According to a statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Monday, nine terrorists linked to the Indian proxy group “Fitna Al Khwarij” were killed during multiple intelligence-based operations carried out in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on May 17 and 18.

In the first intelligence-led operation conducted in Lakki Marwat district, security personnel targeted a known terrorist hideout, resulting in the elimination of five terrorists sponsored by India.

Another intelligence-based operation in Bannu District led to the killing of two additional terrorists by Pakistani security forces.

Separately, in North Waziristan’s Mir Ali area, terrorists launched an attack on a military convoy. In response, security forces returned fire and killed two Indian-backed militants. Unfortunately, two courageous soldiers — Sepoy Farhad Ali Turi (29) from Kurram and Lance Naik Sabir Afridi (32) from Kohat — were martyred in the intense firefight.

Ongoing clearance operations are underway in the involved areas to root out any remaining threats. ISPR reaffirmed that the Pakistani forces are unwavering in their mission to eliminate terrorism and defeat Indian-sponsored efforts to destabilize the region.

The ISPR emphasized that the ultimate sacrifice of Pakistan’s soldiers further strengthens the nation’s commitment to eradicating terrorism from its soil.
