Zong 4G, a prominent telecommunications company in Pakistan, has launched the ‘Digital Scholars Program’ in partnership with Knowledge Platform, an education technology firm. This initiative seeks to revolutionize education in 60 selected schools, benefitting approximately 3,000 students across the country, with a focus on marginalized areas.
The program incorporates a Math Tutoring Program for students in Grades 9 and 10, along with an English and Sciences Self-study Program covering subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, English, General Science, Mathematics, and Physics for the same grades. The chosen schools will receive access to a range of educational resources, including lesson plans, assessment tools, and educational games and videos, aimed at providing technology-driven education.
The Zong Digital Scholars program plans to recognize and celebrate outstanding students, teachers, and schools on both monthly and annual bases through awards. Zong 4G, a subsidiary of China Mobile Communications Corporation, holds a leading position in the 4G industry in Pakistan, boasting over 32 million 4G subscribers and more than 14,000 4G-enabled sites nationwide. The ‘Digital Scholars Program’ underscores Zong 4G’s commitment to advancing education and leveraging technology to empower students in various regions of Pakistan.
