Hao Mingjin, special envoy of Chinese President Xi Jinping and vice chairperson of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, will attend the inauguration of Ghanaian President-elect John Dramani Mahama in Accra on Jan. 7, according to foreign ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun. Hao’s visit comes at the invitation of the Ghanaian government.
