Chinese President and General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, Xi Jinping, will undertake a state visit to Vietnam from April 14 to 15. The visit is being made at the invitation of To Lam, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, and Luong Cuong, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, according to a statement by a spokesperson from China’s Foreign Ministry.
Following his Vietnam visit, President Xi will travel to Malaysia and Cambodia for state visits from April 15 to 18. These visits are being carried out at the invitation of Sultan Ibrahim, the King of Malaysia, and King Norodom Sihamoni of Cambodia, the spokesperson added.
