Xi Jinping, the general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, emphasized the need to uphold traditional Chinese virtues in order to promote a more harmonious society.
He made these comments during a visit to Liuchi Alley, a historical and cultural landmark in Tongcheng City, located in east China’s Anhui Province, on Thursday afternoon.
