The conference, held in Beijing, centered on the theme “Classical Civilizations and the Modern World.”

President Xi highlighted that the event, co-hosted by China and Greece, along with the recent launch of the Chinese School of Classical Studies in Athens, provides a fresh platform for cultural exchange and mutual understanding between China, Greece, and other countries globally.
