Xi pointed out that this year marks the 80th anniversary of significant historical events, including the victories in China’s War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, the Soviet Union’s Great Patriotic War, and the global Anti-Fascist War, as well as the establishment of the United Nations. He noted that these milestones make this year particularly significant for China-Russia relations, which will feature a series of important engagements.
