Chinese President Xi Jinping on Thursday extended messages of condolence to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev following the casualties caused by the crash of an Azerbaijan Airlines plane.
President Xi expressed his shock upon learning about the passenger plane crash involving Azerbaijan Airlines, which resulted in casualties.
On behalf of the Chinese government and its people, Xi conveyed deep condolences for the victims. He also extended heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved families and wished those injured a swift recovery.
