Chinese President Xi Jinping, who also serves as the General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, conducted an inspection tour of Lijiang in Yunnan Province on Wednesday afternoon.
During his visit, he toured a modern flower industry park and Lijiang’s historic Old Town. His focus was on understanding the region’s efforts to promote specialized agriculture suited to local conditions, strengthen the preservation and sustainable use of historical and cultural heritage, and reinforce a unified sense of national identity among the Chinese people.
