Wang Yi urges China, U.S. to find constructive approach and right way to get along as he met U.S. society representatives.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi emphasized on Tuesday the importance of China and the United States finding a constructive approach to their relationship.
During a discussion with American society representatives on the sidelines of a UN Security Council high-level meeting in New York, Wang stated that both nations should adhere to the principles of mutual respect, peaceful coexistence, and win-win cooperation to establish a stable and cooperative dynamic.
Wang, who is also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, highlighted the extensive shared interests between China and the United States, noting that there is significant potential for collaboration.
He stressed that both sides must sincerely respect each other’s core concerns, enhance communication, foster trust, avoid distractions, and address challenges to improve and stabilize China-U.S. relations.
