Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi is scheduled to participate in the opening ceremony of the Fourth China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo, which will take place in Changsha, located in central China’s Hunan Province, from June 10 to 12, according to a statement made by a Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson on Friday.
In addition to his role as Foreign Minister, Wang Yi, who is also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, will take part in the Ministerial Meeting of Coordinators focused on advancing the outcomes of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC), also to be held in Changsha, the spokesperson added.
