TTP, BLA collaborate with India’s support for terror attacks: Balochistan Home Minister

QUETTA – Balochistan Home Minister Ziaullah Langau announced on Wednesday that the banned organizations Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) are collaborating to conduct terrorist attacks in Pakistan, with India as their primary supporter.

Langau revealed that the security forces had apprehended two militant commanders — Nasrullah aka Maulvi Mansoor from TTP and Idrees aka Irshad. He then presented a recorded statement from Nasrullah.

He was addressing a press conference in Quetta on Wednesday.

Langau stated that the global community should now clearly see that there is an international terrorist country, India, behind all this

He said that the Taliban (TTP) claimed they would establish an Islamic system while the BLA opposed the ideologies.

“Their alliance indicates that they share the same financier who is exploiting them from different angles,” said the minister.

He said, “Raw is funding them if you closely examine the financial support, intelligence or the members of the BLA and TTP abroad,”.

According to the home minister, Nasrullah was a core committee member of the TTP and also part of its defense commission.

In his video statement, Nasrullah disclosed that he was from South Waziristan’s Sararogha tehsil and had initially operated from Baitullah Mehsud’s platform before joining the TTP in 2007.

Nasrullah also mentioned serving as an “emir” in the TTP’s defense commission since 2023 and working with a BLA member in January.

He recounted relocating to Afghanistan’s Paktika province during Operation Zarb-i-Azb and detailed his involvement in terrorist activities, including attacks on various Pakistan Army checkposts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
