Pakistan was invited to participate in the 17th CAEXPE as the specially invited partner and has been invited again to participate in the 18th expo this year. The commodities displayed in Pakistan national pavilion of this Expo include sports goods, jewelry, gemstones, minerals and so on. I believe that there will be a lot of negotiation activities among Pakistani, Chinese and ASEAN businessmen who participate in the physical exhibition during the 18th CAEXPO,” President Arif said.
“It is a good sign that importers and exporters from China and Pakistan are coming together. Trade is the future of the world. Trade enhances the partnership between countries, and CAEXPO will further consolidate the good partnership between China and Pakistan,” he added, “Silk Road, Economic Silk Road, Maritime Silk Road, Pakistan-China Communication cooperation between China and Pakistan based on communication lines, China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, etc., all of these are aimed at increasing trade between friendly Asian countries. This is very important because the more developed trade is, the fewer belligerent countries and less likely there will be bad relations. So I congratulate the organizers and I am sure there will be trade talks between Chinese and Pakistani businessmen in the future. Finally, I would like to congratulate China once again on successfully hosting such an important China-Asean Expo.”
