Strong earthquake tremors rocks Pak-Afghan border areas on Wednesday morning, triggering fear and panic among local residents.
In response to the tremors, people in Zhob and surrounding areas hurriedly evacuated their homes and buildings for safety.
The National Seismological Center reported that the earthquake registered a magnitude of 5.0 on the Richter scale, with a depth of 65 kilometers. Its epicenter was identified in Afghanistan’s Hindukush mountain range.
Although the quake was intense, no casualties or property damage have been reported so far. However, the sudden shock left locals anxious about potential aftershocks.
