He outlined plans for the development of SEZs in Lahore and Karachi, while also expressing the importance of Gwadar Port in Pakistan’s economic development. The delegation’s agenda encompasses crucial projects such as ML1, Karakoram Highway realignment, and the development of the northern region, including the Khunjerab Pass.
The Commerce Minister highlighted the sectors of focus under the Sino-Pak Strategic Economic Framework, including agriculture, mining, new energy, and IT. Dr. Ejaz underscored the pivotal role played by the Ministry of Commerce, particularly concerning SEZs and the production of value-added goods. The discussions reaffirmed the commitment of both nations to deepen economic ties and pave the way for mutual prosperity.
