SF Airlines announced the launch of a new air cargo route on Tuesday, connecting Urumqi, the capital of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, with Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan.
This marks SF Airlines’ first dedicated cargo route from Xinjiang to Pakistan. The route will facilitate the transportation of cross-border e-commerce goods and other products, enhancing trade between the two regions.
The service includes two round-trip flights per week, offering a total air transport capacity of over 110 tonnes per week.
With this new route, SF Airlines now operates cargo flights to three destinations in Pakistan, strengthening China-Pakistan economic and trade exchanges by improving logistics efficiency.
SF Airlines, headquartered in Shenzhen, is China’s largest air cargo carrier in terms of fleet size. The company currently operates a total of 89 dedicated cargo aircraft, according to official statistics.
