Six Khwarij militants were eliminated by security forces in an intelligence-based operation conducted in Karak District on Friday.
During the operation, Pakistani troops successfully targeted the militants’ hideout with precision strikes.
A sanitization operation is underway to ensure no remaining Khwarij elements are present in the area, as Pakistan’s security forces remain committed to eradicating terrorism from the country.
President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the security forces for their successful operation against the militants in Karak.
In their separate statements, both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to continuing the fight against terrorism until it is completely eliminated from Pakistan.
President Zardari emphasized that the entire nation stands united against terrorism and supports its security forces.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif vowed to thwart the malicious agendas of enemies of humanity, adding that the sacrifices of Pakistan’s brave soldiers in the war against terror will not go in vain.
